Family Photo Friday

On August 13, 1878, Michael W. Kenny, tarpaulin company owner and husband of Caroline Klinck, died from yellow fever. Although many reports name waitress Kate Bionda as being "the first" to succumb in the city, Michael passed away on the same date - so it's probably safe to say he was "one of the first" to fall victim to the plague.
