Mick Daughtry completes the Last Canteen Ceremony. During this ceremony, the guard recalls that soldiers were often deprived of necessities like uniforms, shoes, and food and water - so they shared everything they had with one another. Each Color Guard member sips water from the same canteen before the rest is poured on the grave of the fallen soldier. |
